Return and Refund Policy for Patio Living Direct

At Patio Living Direct, we strive to ensure a fair and satisfactory shopping experience for all our customers. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, your product may be eligible for a return under the following conditions:

Eligibility for Returns

  • Unused and Unopened: Items must be unused, unassembled, and in their original manufacturer packaging, including all manuals, accessories, packing slips, and materials.
  • Return Window: Items must be returned within 30 days of delivery. No exceptions.
  • Non-Returnable Items:
    • Used, opened, or items removed from original packaging.
    • Assembled or installed items.
    • Clearance, custom-made, or made-to-order products.
    • Items not returned within 30 days of receipt.
    • Items marked "not returnable" in the item description.
    • Items shipped back without a Return Approval.

Return Process

To request a return, email us at support@patiolivingdirect.com with the following information:

  1. Your name
  2. Your order number
  3. The reason for your return
  4. A photo of the unused, unopened item(s)

You will receive an email from us either approving the return or requesting more information. Upon approval:

  • Shipping Costs: You are responsible for all shipping costs (to and from), even if we offered free shipping on your order. This includes the original shipping charges.
  • Return Approval: We will provide shipping labels and instructions on how to ship your return.
  • Inspection and Refund: After we receive and inspect your return, we will issue your refund, less shipping costs and associated charges.

Defective Items

Patio Living Direct is not responsible for defective items. We do not accept returns for defective items that can be remedied through manufacturer warranty coverage. All brands we carry provide warranty coverage. If your items are defective, you will need to file a claim with the manufacturer. For assistance, please refer to our warranty guide.

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact our support team by email at support@patiolivingdirect.com as soon as possible.

  • Within 48 Hours: If you cancel within 48 hours of placing your order and it has not shipped yet, we can issue a full refund.
  • After 48 Hours: If you cancel after 48 hours but before the order has shipped, we reserve the right to issue a refund less a 3% credit card processing fee.

Please note:

  • If we have already paid for shipping before you request cancellation, the order cannot be canceled, and you must proceed under our Return Policy.
  • Orders for made-to-order items cannot be canceled.

Warranty Coverage

Warranties vary by manufacturer. Please refer to the individual product pages for specific warranty details. Warranties cover damages that occur over time and through normal use.

Important Notes:

  • Warranty Claims: These are for damages that occur over time and from regular use of the product.
  • Damage Upon Arrival: Any damage discovered upon delivery must be reported within 5 business days. Such damage is not covered by warranty and falls under our shipping and returns policies.

Filing a Warranty Claim

If you need to file a warranty claim, please contact the manufacturer directly. Each manufacturer provides a warranty guide and instructions for filing claims.

Chargebacks

Important Notice: Filing a fraudulent chargeback is considered theft. If you have not received a product or have an issue with a product, please contact us immediately at support@patiolivingdirect.com so we can work together to resolve the matter. Filing a chargeback without first giving us the opportunity to assist you undermines the resolution process and may lead to unnecessary complications.
